It’s #SmallBusinessShoutOut time! This week we want to give a very special shout out to Ruby Powers, Founder of the Powers Law Group!
In addition to being the founder of Powers Law Group, Ruby travels to Tijuana to volunteer and represent migrants at the border. She is not only a pillar in the Houston community, but a fixture on the US-Mexico border where she assists immigrants applying for asylum while staying in makeshift camps. It is through this experience coupled with her compassion for others, cultural understanding, and a service mindset that Ruby represents her clients.
Ruby’s efforts on the border as well as her expertise in immigration law has led to her being interviewed on Houston Public Media (NPR), CBS, Daily Beast, TIME, Chron, and various other local and national news outlets.
We are SO proud to call Ruby a friend of ours and to give her this shout-out today!!
